What this notice covers
This notice covers information used when you visit dominators.co.uk, choose whether to allow optional analytics, submit the initial enquiry form, email us or telephone us about Amazon seller services.
The initial enquiry form is for business enquiries. Do not send Seller Central passwords, Amazon customer information, identity documents, payment-card details or full account exports through the form.
If an enquiry becomes a client engagement, the information needed to provide the service will be governed by the client contract and the privacy information applicable to that engagement.
03
Information we collect
We may collect:
- your name, business or brand name and work email address;
- the Amazon marketplace, service route and account position you select;
- the message, website, Amazon Store, ASINs or deadline you choose to provide;
- email and telephone correspondence about your enquiry; and
- limited technical and security information generated when you use the website, such as IP address, browser information, request time and anti-spam signals; and
- if you accept analytics, information about the pages visited, referring source, approximate area, device and browser, scrolling, outbound-link clicks, downloads and a confirmed enquiry event.
The website enquiry form does not accept file uploads. It does not create a separate database record of your submission.
04
Why we use the information
We use enquiry information to:
- respond to your request;
- understand the likely service route and whether there is a practical fit;
- ask the questions needed to define possible work;
- prepare and discuss a proposal where appropriate; and
- protect the website and contact route from spam, misuse and security threats.
Where you ask us to discuss or prepare a possible service, we process the information to take steps at your request before entering into a contract. We also rely on legitimate interests where necessary to administer business enquiries, decide whether we can provide the requested service and protect the website. Those interests do not override your data-protection rights.
We do not add form enquirers to a marketing list. We do not upload enquiry details to advertising platforms for matched, custom or lookalike audiences. We do not sell personal information.
If you accept optional analytics, we rely on your consent to understand website use and improve the pages and enquiry journey. Rejecting analytics does not restrict the website or enquiry form.
05
Cookies and optional analytics
Google Analytics is switched off unless you select Accept analytics. Rejecting it prevents the Google Analytics tag from loading. The site stores your choice in your browser for up to 180 days so it can respect that decision.
If you accept, Google Analytics may set first-party cookies beginning with _ga. We limit those cookies to 180 days. Analytics records ordinary website-use information and a generate_lead event only after the website confirms that an enquiry was delivered. It does not receive your name, email address, business name, marketplace selections or message.
Advertising storage, advertising personalisation and Google Signals are disabled in the website configuration. We do not use this setup for remarketing or advertising audiences.
You can reject analytics when first asked or change your choice later through Cookie settings in the website footer. Rejecting after acceptance disables further analytics collection in the browser and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies from this site.
06
Services that process the information
The website uses:
- Cloudflare, which hosts and protects the website, operates the same-domain form endpoint, applies rate limiting and provides Turnstile anti-spam verification;
- Zoho Mail, which sends the form notification to and stores it in the Dominators mailbox; and
- Google Analytics, which processes optional website-use data only after analytics consent.
Cloudflare processes the form request and technical security signals. Cloudflare states that Turnstile may process signals such as the IP address, browser and request characteristics, site key and website origin for bot detection, and that Turnstile does not process the visitor's form entries for that purpose.
The form notification is sent from and to info@dominators.co.uk. Your email address appears in the message body rather than being used as the sender address.
Google explains how it handles Analytics data in its Analytics data safeguards information and privacy policy.
We may disclose information where the law requires it or where it is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal rights.
07
International processing
Cloudflare, Zoho and, if you accept analytics, Google may process information outside the United Kingdom.
Cloudflare's published data-processing terms describe safeguards for restricted transfers from the United Kingdom, including the UK International Data Transfer Addendum where applicable. The current Zoho Mail connection uses Zoho's United States data-centre endpoint. Zoho's UK privacy policy states that service data may be processed, transferred and stored in the United States, the European Economic Area and other countries where Zoho operates, subject to the data-protection agreements required under UK law. Google's published data-protection terms describe the transfer safeguards that apply to Google Analytics data.
08
How long we keep information
We keep a general or unsuccessful enquiry for no longer than 12 months after the last meaningful contact. We then delete it unless a legal obligation, complaint or dispute requires a specific record to be kept for longer.
If the enquiry becomes a client engagement, relevant correspondence becomes part of the client record and follows the retention rules for that engagement.
Cloudflare and Zoho may retain limited service and security records according to their service terms and configured retention periods. We use those records only for service delivery, security, troubleshooting and legal obligations.
The Google Analytics property is configured to retain user-level event data for 14 months. Aggregated reporting may remain available for longer. The consent choice held in your browser expires after 180 days, when the website asks again.
09
Security
The form uses encrypted HTTPS delivery, server-side validation, a hidden anti-spam field, connection rate limiting and Cloudflare Turnstile. Access to the business mailbox and service accounts is restricted. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
10
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you the right to ask us to:
- provide a copy of your personal information;
- correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
- delete information;
- restrict how information is used;
- consider an objection to processing based on legitimate interests; or
- provide certain information in a portable format.
These rights are not absolute in every situation. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
You may withdraw analytics consent at any time through Cookie settings in the footer. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before consent was withdrawn.
Send a privacy request to info@dominators.co.uk.
You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. Current complaint information is available at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
