Full Seller Central management For an agreed Amazon operation

Amazon Seller Central account management without losing control.

Amazon Seller Central account management is an ongoing service in which we own the agreed advertising, catalogue, fulfilment-coordination, account-health and reporting work. Your business keeps the account, brand assets and major commercial decisions.

Starting point

See how the operating responsibility changes before the detailed scope is written.

Dominators manages
  • Advertising, catalogue and account health work
  • Cases, suppressions and agreed exceptions
  • Stock signals and inbound coordination
Your business retains
  • Inventory purchasing and freight commitments
  • Budgets, pricing, claims and approvals
  • Product, finance and supplier decisions
Amazon handles for enrolled FBA orders
  • Storage, picking and packing
  • Shipping and much of customer service
  • Refunds and returns processing
Scope implication

FBA is the standard starting model. The proposal still names every responsibility, approval limit and coverage window.

01 / What full management means

Full management begins with a clear division of responsibility.

A broad promise sounds reassuring until an urgent task falls between the agency, your team, a supplier and Amazon. Before work begins, we write down the operation we will own and the decisions your team will keep.

This gives you one accountable owner for the agreed Amazon work without treating every product, marketplace, request or emergency as automatically included.

Written responsibility schedule

Agreed before the start date

01Account and operating scope

Marketplaces, products, fulfilment models and recurring work included.

02Decision authority

What we may change, what needs approval and the relevant spending limits.

03Coverage and escalation

Working hours, time zone, contacts, holidays and the urgent incident route.

04Known issues and dependencies

Pre existing cases, suppliers, advisers and decisions that remain with Amazon.

Scope boundary

What belongs inside an Amazon account-management agreement?

The agreement should include only the work, authority and coverage that both sides have inspected and accepted. Everything else is conditional, retained by the business or controlled by Amazon.

01Normally included when written into scope

Recurring Seller Central work can include campaign management, catalogue and listing administration, account-health monitoring, support cases, FBA stock signals, approved changes and decision-led reporting. The signed responsibility schedule names the products, marketplaces, permissions and limits rather than relying on a broad promise.

02Conditional work that needs a separate capacity check

Seller-fulfilled orders, evening or weekend coverage, external creative production, new marketplaces, substantial catalogue repair and known pre-existing incidents need their own workload, people and cost assessment. Conditional does not mean unavailable; it means the operating requirement must be understood before it is promised.

03Responsibilities that stay outside agency control

Your business keeps account ownership, primary credentials and material commercial approvals. Physical freight, statutory accounts, tax positions, legal conclusions and product-safety determinations remain with the seller or the appropriate qualified professional. Amazon keeps final control of eligibility, reviews, policy decisions and live account status.

04UK operating checks that affect the work

The operating plan can flag VAT and Making Tax Digital records, packaging EPR, Brand Registry status, GTIN ownership and the product-safety regime that applies in Great Britain or Northern Ireland. We coordinate the Seller Central work and evidence. We do not replace HMRC guidance or advice from a qualified tax, legal or product-compliance professional.

02 / Connected account work

Bring the account work into one operating plan.

The final responsibility depends on the account. These workstreams can be coordinated when they are written into the management schedule.

01

Commercial priorities

Decide where account effort should go

Review the products, available demand, contribution information, stock position and current constraints before assigning work and spend.

02

Advertising

Manage campaigns inside agreed limits

Campaign structure, search terms, targeting, bids, placements and budgets can be managed alongside total sales, conversion, availability and product economics.

03

Catalogue and content

Keep product pages and catalogue work connected

Manage listing copy, image and A+ priorities, Brand Store work, attributes, variations, catalogue issues and approved Seller Central implementation.

04

Stock and FBA

Raise availability and inbound risks early

Monitor the Amazon information relevant to the agreed range and coordinate the Seller Central work with the people who control purchasing, suppliers and freight.

05

Routine operation

Own the recurring account work in the schedule

The scope can include account health, support cases, suppressed listings, buyer communications that require seller action, returns and order exceptions.

06

Reporting and decisions

Keep material work, blockers and approvals visible

Record what changed, what needs attention and which decision is required. The report supports action instead of listing activity for its own sake.

03 / Fulfilment model

The operating model changes the work required from the management team.

Standard model

FBA management

Amazon handles storage, picking, packing, shipping and much of the customer service and returns process for enrolled products. The management scope centres on the seller responsibilities that remain.

  • Advertising, catalogue and offers
  • Stock planning signals and inbound coordination
  • Account health, cases and exceptions
  • Commercial reporting and client decisions
Separate assessment

Seller fulfilled management

Daily order processing, dispatch, tracking, buyer contact, cancellations, returns and delivery performance need reliable ownership beyond the normal FBA scope.

  • Order and message volumes
  • Warehouse and carrier ownership
  • Weekend and holiday coverage
  • Required operators, systems and escalation
Acceptance condition

The people, coverage and cost must be assessed and funded before these responsibilities are promised.

04 / Serious account incidents

A difficult case does not automatically become an extra invoice.

When a major suspension or lengthy investigation arises during full management and falls within the agreed responsibility, the investigation and response work is included. The account still needs a careful starting review so known issues are treated honestly before signing.

  1. 01

    Establish the actual status

Read the notice, account history and current Amazon position before deciding what can be supported.

  2. 02

    Preserve and organise evidence

Collect the records, product facts and account information relevant to the issue without inventing a cause or claim.

  3. 03

    Agree the response

Coordinate the facts and approvals required from the client, an adviser or another responsible party.

  4. 04

Submit and manage the next step

Send the agreed response, answer information requests and record every platform status accurately.

Reviewed before signing

Every known suspension, investigation, suppression or unresolved case is assessed and marked as included, excluded or separately scoped.

Responsibility must be documented

If an issue follows an action or omission outside the agreed process, the contract and recorded facts determine how it is handled.

Amazon controls the outcome

We report submitted, under review, information requested, resolved, rejected or unresolved. We do not promise reinstatement or a fixed review time.

05 / Decisions and control

Your business keeps the decisions that carry the commercial risk.

We agree which routine actions can proceed without delay and where written approval is required. If the client does not reply, we wait. We do not assume they have approved the decision.

Decision typePrimary ownerHow it is handled
Routine work inside written limitsDominators

We carry out and record the advertising, catalogue and operational work assigned to us.

Budgets, pricing and inventory commitmentsYour business

Your team approves material spend, price, promotion, purchasing, supplier and freight decisions unless authority is expressly delegated.

Product claims and formal professional positionsYour business

Your team approves product facts and claims. Qualified professionals handle legal, tax or product safety determinations where needed.

External production and new suppliersYour business

The deliverable, cost and owner are approved before we commit the business to an outside expense.

Platform review and final decisionsAmazon

Amazon controls processing, review times, policy decisions, case outcomes and the final live account state.

06 / Controlled handover

Move ownership without creating gaps or duplicate work.

We inspect how the operation currently works before accepting responsibility. Existing people and suppliers may stop, continue or keep part of the work. The handover records which is true for every important task.

Access rule

We use named, authorised access with the permissions needed for the agreed work. The primary account password remains private.

Readiness inputs

Prepare account access, recent business reports, product costs, catalogue and campaign records, fulfilment workflows, open cases and the people who can approve commercial decisions.

If the responsibility is still unclear, a paid account and opportunity review can establish the evidence and the smallest sensible next scope before ongoing work is proposed.

  1. 01

    Inspect the account and workload

Review marketplaces, catalogue, campaigns, fulfilment, account health, open cases, operating volumes and existing owners.

  2. 02

    Agree the responsibility schedule

Name the work we own, the approvals you retain, the dependencies outside either party and the coverage required.

  3. 03

    Record the starting position

Preserve the reports and account information used for the baseline, then identify immediate risks and the first priorities.

  4. 04

    Move each responsibility deliberately

Confirm when current staff or agencies stop, continue or hand over each task so work is not duplicated or missed.

  5. 05

    Run, review and adapt

Record material actions and use agreed review points to continue, change, pause or stop work based on the available evidence.

07 / Operating rhythm

Keep routine work and important decisions visible.

Ongoing

Monitor and execute

Handle the assigned account work, spending limits, cases and operating exceptions inside the agreed coverage.

Regular update

Record work and blockers

Show completed actions, current observations, spend or stock exceptions and decisions needed from the client.

Decision review

Read commercial context

Review total sales, advertising, conversion, availability, returns and available cost information with the material conditions around them.

Next cycle

Continue, change, pause or investigate

Set the next priorities from the evidence and approvals rather than filling the plan with unrelated activity.

08 / Commercial reporting

Connect Amazon activity to the wider business result.

Advertising reports and task lists can look positive while availability falls, discounts reduce margin or effort moves toward the wrong products. Management reporting should help the business make the next decision.

Amazon records
  • Total sales and units
  • Advertising spend and attributed sales
  • Conversion and availability
  • Returns and visible Amazon costs
Business context
  • Client supplied product costs
  • Price and promotion changes
  • Stock, seasonality and other media
  • Production and agency costs
Decision outputA management view with sources and limits stated.

This supports commercial decisions. It is not statutory profit reporting or proof that one agency action caused every later movement.

09 / Coverage and quotation

Agree the coverage and resources before the service is priced.

A focused FBA operation and a large seller fulfilled account with open investigations do not require the same people, time or incident capacity.

Starting coverage model

Defined weekday business hours

The proposal states the time zone, daily window, named contacts, holidays and the route for urgent account incidents.

Additional coverage

Evening, weekend, continuous monitoring or a specific response commitment requires suitable people, systems and funding before agreement.

The custom quote reflects
  • Products and marketplaces
  • Catalogue and campaign condition
  • Fulfilment method and operating volumes
  • Known account health issues and cases
  • Creative and production needs
  • Meetings, reporting and coverage
  • Available resources and incident capacity
  • Commercial value and operating risk

Advertising spend, inventory, freight, outside production, software and professional advisers are identified separately from the agency fee.

Commercial model

How are Amazon account-management fees structured?

Amazon account-management fees are commonly structured as a retainer, a percentage, a performance-linked amount or a defined project fee. The sensible model depends on what the provider controls and what result can be measured fairly.

Dominators quotes ongoing management after reviewing catalogue size, marketplaces, fulfilment, campaigns, incident load, coverage and reporting needs. No public fixed fee has been approved.

01Fixed monthly retainer

A retainer can fit recurring responsibility with a defined product range, marketplace set, coverage window and review rhythm. The fee still needs to change if workload or responsibility changes materially; a fixed number should not disguise unlimited scope.

02Percentage of advertising spend

A spend-based fee is simple for advertising-only work, but it can reward higher media spend rather than better contribution. It is a weak basis for catalogue, stock, account-health and operating work that does not rise in direct proportion to ad spend.

03Performance-linked fee

A performance-linked element needs an agreed baseline, reliable cost inputs and rules for stock, price, seasonality, returns and other marketing. It should not turn sales or ROAS into a false profit claim, and it cannot guarantee an outcome controlled partly by Amazon and the market.

04Project or takeover fee

A separate project fee can suit an account review, migration or defined repair before ongoing management begins. It buys a named output and decision; it does not quietly include indefinite execution after the project ends.

Operating choice

Should you use an agency, freelancer or in-house Amazon manager?

The right model is the least complicated one that can own the real workload without creating an unmanaged dependency. Full agency management is not automatically the best answer.

Comparison of Amazon account-management operating models
ModelMain strengthBest fitRisk to control
AgencyConnected skills and cover across several workstreamsThe account needs advertising, catalogue and operational responsibility coordinated togetherAuthority, dependencies and named ownership must be explicit
FreelancerFocused expertise with direct access to one operatorThe requirement is narrow, stable and fits one person's capacityAbsence, workload and single-person dependency need a plan
In-house managerDirect day-to-day control and knowledge inside the businessWork volume justifies a permanent role and the business can recruit and manage itSalary is only part of the cost; tools, management and specialist gaps remain
Narrower serviceA defined project without transferring the whole accountThe problem is already clear, such as PPC, listings or one account incidentYour team still owns the connection between workstreams

11 / Fit and evidence

Full management should solve a continuing ownership problem.

Our documented cases show broader Seller Central operating experience. They do not prove a full management response standard, profit result or guaranteed growth outcome. We keep those limits beside the evidence.

See our documented Amazon experience

Full management is more likely to fit when

  • ✓Amazon is a meaningful sales channel that needs continuing ownership
  • ✓Several parts of the account need one commercial plan
  • ✓Your team can provide reliable product, cost, stock and compliance information
  • ✓A named person can approve material business decisions
  • ✓The required access, budgets and outside costs can be agreed
  • ✓The account justifies the management and incident capacity it requires

Our proven operating base is Seller Central. A Vendor Central only or substantial hybrid account needs a separate capability and resource check before quotation.

12 / Common questions

Before responsibility changes hands.

01Does full management mean you control every decision?

No. We own the work assigned to us and can act within written limits. Your business retains account ownership and the major budget, pricing, inventory, product claim and supplier decisions unless the proposal expressly delegates something different.

02Are major suspensions and lengthy investigations included?

For an incident that arises during the engagement and falls within our agreed responsibility, the investigation and response work is included. Pre existing issues are reviewed before signing. Amazon still controls its decision and timing.

03Can you manage a seller fulfilled account?

Potentially. We first assess order, dispatch, customer service, return and coverage requirements, plus the people and systems already in place. Those responsibilities are included only after the resources and cost have been agreed.

04Will we keep access to our account and work?

Yes. Your business retains the account and brand assets. We use appropriate named access, and the agreed reports, records and editable deliverables are handed over when the engagement ends.

05Do you provide continuous monitoring?

Our starting model is defined weekday business hours with an urgent escalation route. Evening, weekend or other coverage is offered only when the required people, systems and fee have been agreed in advance.

06How much does full account management cost?

It is a custom monthly quote after the account and workload review. The fee reflects the responsibility, coverage and resources required. It is not automatically calculated as a percentage of advertising spend or sales.

07Do you need our primary Seller Central login?

No. Your primary credentials remain private. Access should use Amazon's authorised-partner route with only the permissions required for the agreed work, and your account administrator can review or remove that access.

08How quickly can responsibility transfer?

There is no responsible universal takeover time. The handover depends on access, catalogue size, campaign condition, fulfilment workflows, open cases and whether current owners can supply a reliable starting record.

09Can you manage Vendor Central as well?

Our verified operating base is Seller Central. A Vendor Central-only or substantial hybrid operation needs a separate capability and resource check before we would quote or claim that responsibility.

10What should the management report show?

The report should show material actions, current account conditions, decisions required and the commercial measures the client can support with reliable data. Sales, ACoS and ROAS stay separate from profit unless complete cost information is available.
